Dr. Scott Lee graduated cum laude with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University in 2008. Before attending dental school, he graduated cum laude from Weber State University, where he majored in microbiology and minored in chemistry. Dr. Lee is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and Arizona Dental Association. He is also a former member of the United State Marine Corps and 2003 recipient of a Purple Heart during combat in Baghdad, Iraq. Dr. Lee is an Arizona native; he grew up in Mesa and went to Westwood High School. He is proud of his service in the USMC and his Purple Heart. Dr. Lee and his beautiful wife, Melanie, have three wonderful kids, Hannah, Charlie, and Hazel. In his free time, he enjoys art, reading, hiking, mountain biking, serving in his church, and spending time with his family. “What makes me happy? Dr. Dennis Lloyd is an Arizona native who grew up in Mesa and attended Mesa High school. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints he served his mission in El Salvador and Guatemala. Upon returning home Dr. Lloyd earned a degree in Biology at Arizona State University and then was accepted into the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Once he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree he returned to his roots in Mesa and took over the practice of his own family dentist, Dr. Wilford Watkins. Dr. Dennis Lloyd has been practicing dentistry in Mesa, AZ since 1979. He has taken multiple continuing care courses to stay up on all of the most recent dental treatment options and technology, including numerous courses on implant restoration. “What makes me happy? Learning where people come from. Everyone has a story and I enjoy the discovery of new places.”
Dr. Richard Monahan believes a smile is the universal language and can say a thousand words. That is why he wants his patients to feel happy and confident in their smiles. His philosophy is putting patient health and education first, and thoroughly answering any questions before completing treatment. Dr. Monahan graduated cum laude with his DMD degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He participates regularly in continuing education through Spear Education and is committed to learning the best techniques in dentistry. A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Monahan fell in love with the mountains and climate of the west. He served a 2 year church mission in Idaho and Brazil, where he learned to speak Portuguese and Spanish. Before UNLV, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Brigham Young University in Utah.
Dr. Brodie was born and raised in Mesa, AZ. He had the privilege of working summers at his father’s dental practice and watching people’s lives change as a result of excellent dental care. He remembers several rewarding experiences where he would drive down to the office and watch his father take care of dental emergencies. After completing a mission for his church, Dr. Brodie set his sights on following in his father’s footsteps to becoming a dentist. After graduating from Arizona State University he attended The Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health where he received awards in sedation and implantology. Dr. Brodie is an active member of several dental organizations including ADA, AzDA, AACD, AAID and the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry. He continues to expand his skills, while focusing on listening to the needs of his patients. While away from the dental office Dr. Brodie loves to read, play pickleball, and get outdoors with his wife, Jaiden and their three kids; Brigdon, Addison, and Emery. “What makes me happy? My wife and I love to cook and try new recipes. We love taking our three kids and our dogs on trips to the farmers market, and hikes around the superstitions.”
